I'll be taking a photo for each day of the year and posting it here. I'll be looking to shoot daily life, big events, little events, odds and ends, ones I love, favorite things, and beauty in the ordinary. So if you see me pointing my camera at you, smile! :)

Day 97

I thought (very briefly) about posting a self portrait today. Just to show how hideous I look after my wisdom teeth came out. It ended up being more hideous than I imagined.
So instead... some of my blessings from the day:
Time to read my Beth Moore book I haven't been able to get to.
An empty barf bag (meaning I did not get sick on the way home).
Modern medicine (and praying I can take pain meds without getting sick this time).
A beautiful birth announcement that was in the mail when I got home (with some of my photos-fun!).
And not pictured, but also thankful for:
Co-workers that drove me to work then to my appointment.
My wonderful husband that got me afterwards and takes such good care of me.
My Lord, my God.
"Everyday may not be good, but there's something good in everyday."

  1. Hope you get along fine! You didn't need the extra "wisdom" anyway! You've got plenty girl :)

  3. Awww, thanks Lisa! :)

And, YES. I remember! Were we at the theater for something that same time? I remember you showing up at the theater (for a movie or play practice?) and your poor face was VERY swollen. I have had ice packs on my face all afternoon in honor of you. :)

  5. I can relate. Had a root canal yesterday, tooth was really infected.

Still in a lot of pain today. Headache, go away.

Hope you are feeling much better now.
