Day 19

I could whine about how long this winter has been or how cold it is or how we will be in school till July... or I could give thanks to God for all the blessings in my life and appreciate the beauty around me that this cold weather and long winter bring. It really is beautiful, isn't it?

Day 18

In the middle of my ridiculously messy desk is this. My prayer journal. A lovely reminder to pray. Pray when I feel like complaining, pray when I'm discouraged, pray when I'm worried about someone/something, pray when I'm excited, pray when I'm happy, pray.

I don't always love my job so much but this year (so far) as been a good year. Even so, it still takes a lot of prayer. And some good chats with some great coworkers. I had some of both today. And now I get to go dig into the word with some more great people. God is good.

Day 12

I was fully prepared to post a picture of my crazy, messy desk in the middle of my crazy, chaotic month. That is, until I came home to this. My amazing husband studying the word and full of excitement about it. I love him. And I love Him.

Day 11

Things in my life are either a blessing or they aren't. Some things, like this lone, forgotten water glass on an otherwise spotless counter, are blessings in disguise.

Day 10

This little guy very intently studied his Bible on the way to church today. And now that our weekend company is gone, I plan on studying mine.

Day 4

So excited for this season's Beth Moore study, "Living Beyond Yourself." I love Monday nights with the Lord (and those fabulous ladies!).
