My job is about small victories. Like this brand new box of 40 Sharpies I rescued from the garbage bin after a locker clean out. But some days those small victories feel pretty big. Like when a group of girls I've been talking to about bullying a lot this week finally "got it" and realized they really could be nice to each other. And (for today, anyway) are now friends. Today was one of those days.

Day 36

I love those small victories. It really makes the job totally worth it. And remember these days when they are calling you every name in the book other than Ms._____ or Mrs.______.
